The Committoo
(1) Invited the Minister of Overseas Development, in
consultation with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Defence Secretary and the Commonwealth Secretary, to consider urgently in the light of their discussion the problem of the timing of our decision on aid to Singapore and Malaysia in relation to the communication to them of the Medium Term Plan for the rundown of our forces.
(2) Agreed to resume their discussion at a meeting before
the end of the year.
